The 2019 exhibition enjoyed glorious July weather and nearly 300 entries- a new show record! Over 1100 visitors enjoyed the show and 88 artworks were sold. The committee were delighted at the 45 entries into the Young Artists section, with budding creatives from 2 to 16 years old participating.
As always, many villagers volunteered, both the Primary School and Pre-School participated and many local businesses supported the raffle. The People’s Favourite, voted for by all our visitors, was Margaret Swift’s delightful portrait of terrier Ted. A donation of £1300 was made to the Gargrave Village Hall Coulthurst Trust, Registered Charity No: 222607.
